![]() it has been multiple months after multiple emails and phone calls and he still does not have replacement parts. ![]() I get why his thread was locked, but I find it a bit crazy how everyone is saying to give kamado joe the benefit of the doubt, stop complaining, etc. Fortunately the product was a metal nest so the damage was minimal (some scratches on the different pieces) and structurally it's fine. There was just the nest in the box, and no supporting packing material to keep the integrity of the box. For the replacement nest I received, it was also severely damaged and I believe it was mostly due to poor packing. It's unclear how well or poorly the pieces were packed so I don't think we can say definitively if it was FedEx's fault or kamado joes. Looks like a huge fail by the folks who delivered your parts.not KJ.īased on his thread it seems like it was shipped in some random gasket box based on the label. From what I am noticing their customer service is hit or miss as of lately. In the end it was taking care of but should of never reached the level it did. I like my Big Joe and it is functioning fine (for now) but I cant recommend them anymore. Im glad for those that have had no issues but some of us havent been as fortunate. My experience arguably makes the firebox issue posted above look like childs play and I have been left without a functioning grill before because of it. I have had mine now for roughly a year and have had 5 warranty claims in which two became quite the ordeal and we are talking about crucial components. ![]() But, there have been many that haven't had a stellar experience including myself. ![]() That's good that you and others have had a good experience. You know how I roll, too.I run my grills daily when I'm off work. I've never been left with grill that wouldn't run. KJ's customer service has been stellar for me and my family. ![]()
